Hey everyone! Now first up and front I just want to deeply apologize for my absence! Yes I do realize I have been gone for about 5 months now but you know, school gets in the way then a trip to Mexico then a whole buncha other crap... In simple, my time just ran out. But I will try to blog regularly at least every other weekend or so. But I will try not to abandon it like I have been doing so yeah. So now that Skyward Sword has been out for 5 months, sales and praise for the games are high and the game has even been awarded best Wii game and best Motion control game! Sadly, it didn't win any other wards, especially not the Game of the Year award we were all hoping for. But I hafta ask, why? It was voted Game of the Year by a bunch of people like on IGN yet nothing special. But hey, the LoZ series is the first series to be put in the Hall of Fame so to me, that's even better. Either way, Skyward Sword doesn't need an award or anything to show that the game is absolutely wonderful in ever way possible. When I got the game, I basically disappeared from the world and went into Zelda mode for 5 days. Yep, the game took me 5 whole days to complete, my finishing time being 50 hours. So, 10 hours a day. Needless to say, the game was VERY addicting. And what did I do as soon as I finish? Start Hero Mode of course!
I can literally replay this game over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over... And not get tired of it. I gotta say, the intro and beginning part of the game might just be on of my favorite parts of the game and my personal favorite intro in any Zelda game. But I'll post the review soon though. But maybe I really don't need to as I don't need to tell you how awesome the game is. Plus, millions of other reviews already came out so mine will just be a repeat of those reviews (Not the GameSpot review though. Horrible) So there's really not much more to talk about. There IS Kid Icarus Uprising though... A game I REALLY want that my friend SIERRA already has. Yep, she's been worked on that game for ages... playing Light vs Dark and dominating story mode. Yeah she's hooked. Hopefully I'll get it today though and when I do, later I will post a review on it as well. Only after I finish the game though. Alright so that's it for right now as my hands are getting tired of typing. I will post another post later today to give you guys some info on what I'm up to right now. Hint: KH
Peace out guys! And a big THANK YOU to everyone who is still following me and checking back. Thank you for being loyal and I am VERY sorry I am late. I know not many people are reading this blog, but I big thank you (again) to people who are!

What you've all been waiting for... Dawn of a New Day 0 Hours Remaining and Looking Back
It's here. What we've all been waiting for is finally here. Yes, the sacred and ever so holy, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword! No more days. No more hours. No more seconds It's here, right now, in the US! I hope you are all excited as I am! I really can't wait to get my hands on the game. Unfortunately, I have to wait until about 3:00ish to get my copy. But I'm fine as long as I get it! Man, I can still remember back on E3 2010. You guys remember when this art came out?
We all thought crazy stuff about Fi just because Link didn't have a sword. We were very close though! And then this came out.
Some were happy, some weren't that day. And even more speculation came out. Then the GDC trailer came out and even MORE speculation was made!
People freaked that the theme backwards was Zelda's Lullaby! And then we couldn't even tell who or what Girahim was! I thought he was a girl at that time! XD Then, the best thing at E3 2011 happened. Yet another trailer came out, this time, showing more plot elements than gameplay as the others did.
People were introduced to a new Zelda we haven't seen before and were all surprised she was not of royalty! People also got a glimpse of the new Lofwings: Mystical guardian birds. And now, we're finally here. I still remember back when the game was introduced, I said to myself: "Wow. I can't really imagine how everything will be when the game comes out. Will things be the same?" No no. They changed, but for the better. I actually still can't believe it's here after thinking back at the day when the art came out! Well now it is and many of us are about to unfold a new and untold legend today... A legend held dearly by the royal family. A legend that tells of a boy who became a man. (Yeah yeah I'm quoting the WW commercial.)
Well, that's all for now guys! I dunno when I'll update my blog again but when I do, I'll make a SS review and my impressions. Expect a 10/10 *wink*. I will definitely miss the anticipation of this game though. All the news, the excitement... It'll all go away after today since we'll be able to have the game ourselves. I actually feel sad, but happy it's here! I've never been like this for a Zelda game though. Hmm... Well, I wish everyone a good and safe journey to Hyrule. You can do it! Zelda is your destiny! Adios, peace, and take care!

Epic Zelda Music
Hello again ladies and gentlemen! Today's post features something different. As you all know, music has played a HUGE part in Zelda history, and it still does! And it's so awesome how many people, like this talented violinist I'm about to show you guys, take their time to make these masterpieces even more beautiful than ever! This Zelda fan (Lindsey Stirling) shows her love for Zelda by playing an awesome Zelda medley of Zelda music played throughout the years! Instead of me jabbering on and on about it, have a listen for yourself!
Epic right? I hope you got goosebumps because I sure did! So anyways, I tend to call this video "Nostalgia Attack" because that's exactly what it did. I found my head traveling back to all the Zelda moments as she played. Nice job violinist! No, EPIC job! I also really like the cosplay costume she's wearing. I wish I had a Link costume that good. I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did! And while we're on the topic of music, I might as well also show you yet another fantastic performance done by my friend Sierra AKA Windlilly AKA HeroineOfTime. Lots of names. Anyways, you've seen Zelda play the Ballad of the Goddess, but wait till you see Sierra do it!
It's pretty unique as she does the whole theme! Even the last part where everything goes all epic! Beautiful job Sierra! Who knows people, she might be Zelda herself! Alright people, that's all for now! And let me close off by saying... 1 MORE DAY UNTIL SKYWARD SWORD! 1. MORE. DAY! I thought I would never be able to say that. Well it's technically 2 but tomorrow is Saturday so you might read this then. OK then people, adios, peace, and take care!

News. Just more and more of it...
Heya everyone! First and foremost, I want to apologize for neglecting my blog for quite a while. Hey, being a teenager isn't so easy when you have loads of homework everyday. So I'm sorry and I hope you still continue to follow my blog! Anyways, wow, don't you think time goes fast? It seems it was just yesterday when I said "40 more days till Skyward Sword!" and now, we're down to 7. 7! Can you believe it? One more week and that game is as good as ours! Lucky Europeans get it 2 days earlier though so that's when I will stop being on the computer looking up SS stuff because most likely, more and more spoilers will be posted those 2 days. Anyways, while I was gone, LOADS of news came out! Well videos, but it's still "news"... I think. You may have already seen them but if you didn't here are some. First is a trailer. It contains a bit of spoilers. Consider yourself warned.
Sweet right? Now I'll wait since, if you haven't seen it, you might be stunned.
...
...
...Done? Okay! So yeah awesome trailer! So the fire entering into Link's sword... My prediction is that the first half of the game will be trying to forge the Goddess Sword into the Master Sword by going to all 3 provinces or parts of Hyrule and collecting blue, green, and red fire. Sounds about right. And that mysterious woman... Who is she? I actually already know the answer to that thanks to random spoilers popping up. Hey it was an accident! Now I won't say it but I will say it's what many people already think she is. Now without further ado, here's another trailer showing the harp.
Nice dancing Fi! So from what I know so far, that dancing Fi was doing and Link's playing is basically a performance of learning a new song. Now, I'm just guessing, but I'm 99.9% sure it's right. I've seen actually game play of the harp and it's actually pretty different to what we're used to. This time, you just move the Wiimote in a strumming motion and Link does the rest. You don't actually play specific notes, it just matches with the background music. At least that's what I've seen. Here's an example.
Pretty catchy tune if you ask me! The new playing style of the harp seems different, but I think we can all enjoy it. I also saw a video in which Link can play it while walking or running, but I have no idea which one it is. I'll post it ASAP if I see it again though. Well, things seem to be heating up between Zelda and Link this time around. We already know Link and Zelda have quite the relationship in Skyward Sword! Here's another video showing that connection.
Now I dunno about you but I REALLY love the music! Gee Zelda seems to be really in love with Link. I can't wait to see how their relationship grows. Maybe even a little kiss scene? Haha we'll just hafta see. Well, that's all for now. Keep checking back for more info! And let me sign off with an outstanding review by IGN about Skyward Sword! It will surely give you goosebumps and more hype! A thanks to The Bit Block for posting the amazing gameplay videos. Peace!
I'm back again haha! Anyways, I found that one video I was talking about. It's an Iwata asks video with some game play. Here, you can not only see the mentioned harp game play, but also a few RPG elements such as a storage and the famous upgrading system. So here it is. Cya everyone!

New Skyward Sword Info! (Again)
Hey everyone! My goodness I can hardly type because of how excited I am! If you look up Zelda news regularly like me, you most likely stumbled across a load full of Zelda videos! The first one already takes a piece of heart as it shows you an all new Skyward Sword trailer! And boy is it a good one!
Yes, I know you're grinning and staring in awe. You probably replayed it a few times too! Don't worry, it's normal for a Zelda fan! Now, this trailer shows quite a lot! It shows a new region, more Fi (I'm guessing they re-spelled her name) and noticeably, harp playing! Now, I don' know about you but that harp scene was probably my favorite part of the trailer (And Link's smile before that). I still wonder how it'll work though. We'll just hafta wait and find out. I also found out a few info about Link's tunic. Supposedly, like in Spirit Tracks, it's, as you may have guessed, a knights uniform. This uniform changes color (it doesn't really change, they just make a new one a different color) every year and this year happened to be green. Thought you'd like to know. The pack of video's also shows a romance montage between Link and Zelda.
Finally, after all the games, Link and Zelda are finally in love noticeably. I say noticeably because in some games, it MAY seem like it, but you can't really tell. Even so, this game seems to show it quite a lot as you can see in 1:06. A little too close there Zelda give him some space. Also, a very important thing you should notice is that Link is FINALLY taller than Zelda! As far as I know, it has always been the other way around (WW,TP, and not sure about OoT or the NES games...). Maybe because she doesn't have her heels yet. One last video just shows a simple sword tutorial.
Not much news from that video, but nice to watch. One thing I do wanna say is that from what IGN says, they say unlike TP, the beginning of the story follows the story and gives you tutorials at the same time. In other words, like say, if you do a tutorial for sword training, it has a reason. Link supposedly trains with the sword in order to rescue his bird from a cave. Now, TP did have some of this, but it wasn't SUPER relevant in the story. IGN says quote:
"Zelda games are known for following some very basic principles, even though each entry finds its own way of innovating for the franchise. Skyward Sword is similar, but it does things differently enough to keep this entry from feeling like it’s wasting your time. The game wants Link to be on his grand adventure as much as you do."
That makes me pretty happy to hear considering there will be more story and less lolly gagging. No more goat herding! Well, that's basically all the news for Skyward Sword today, All I can say is that I am super excited for this game. So far, Skyward Sword looks like a game that has all my adventurous dreams mashed up into one game disc. A dream come true. Peace everyone!

Arwing Madness!
Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I've been pretty darn busy. But that's okay because there hasn't been much Zelda news anyways. I mean, there is a new gamplay video, but I think I'll post that later. Right now, surprisingly, my main focus has been on Star Fox 64 3D cause, well, I got it!
Yay, finally my second 3DS game! I can't belive I'm saying this, but it sort of feels good to play another game besides OoT 3D. Don't get me wrong, it was fantastic, but new games are awlays appreciated.
Well, I've had it for quite a while now and all I can say is that it's awesome! The 3D is magnificent, the gameplay is super fun, yet challenging, and defiantly worth buying! I also have a new perspective about the team after playing. My favorite character, Falco, is now probably the biggest jerk in gaming history, Slippy is just as annoying as people say he is, and Peppy is just an easy target. But hey, that's Star Fox. Either way, I enjoyed them all and their humor. Needless to say, I am in love with this game and you should get it. Wow, it sort of feels weird talking about something else other than Zelda for once. Well, if you were disappointed with this post and just need a speck of Zelda, then okay, you win. Here you go. Have a nice day! Oh yeah, my score for Star Fox 64 3D: 10/10 Buy it!

SKYWARD SWORD MEDIA OVERLOAD!!!
Holy Nayru it's here! More Skyward Sword info! Okay, okay, now since there's so much for me to talk about, lemme just show you. Skip to 4:50 for the bliss!
Yes, I know you're grinning and in awe right now! You probably have goose bumps even! How do I know? Cause I have them too! OMG I SERIOUSLY CANNOT WAIT ANY LONGER! I AM CALLING NINTENDO!
So.. besides the hype, there's something more new to this video. Yeah, we know a super cool returning item-the claw shots- are returning, but something else... Who's that guy/girl on 5:25? Boy, it seems we cannot clearly tell the gender of anyone at all in this game! Maybe he/she's a... hmm... well, I honestly haven't come up with anything myself. And right after that, what do you think Zelda's looking at? Hmmm... Well it's a shiny golden light... Triforce maybe? Who knows. That's not the end of the news yet though. I have one more video. One shows a new element in the game which is upgrading.
So how it works is that Link has to collect certain items, return to the tinker shop, and give the supplies to the tinkerer so he can make an item even more useful? Sound like a smart and very unique process if you ask me! That's one thing I am loving so far. Nintendo is trying it's very best effort to make this the best Zelda ever! In my opinion, the best GAME ever!
There is one more video I have, but it's a little older then the ones above. In fact, I was going to wait this weekend to just show that one video, but more came up, so lets just put it in one. This one actually has some HD footage of the game and some in game music.
Now, this shows a few stuff actually. I used to always think that the Skyward Sword does some magic so Link doesn't SPLAT when he hits the ground. But nope! It's just a cloth! This cloth will supposedly have more uses as shown in a gameplay video in a 3DS Conference... which I have here! Wow, Skyward Sword has so many videos now! I LOVE IT! Well, until then everyone! When new updates come around, I will be sure to post them ASAP!
