Skyward Sword Release Date?

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but boy have I got some news for you! Finally, what we've all been waiting for, the Skyward Sword release date! Supposedly, Nintendo said that the European version was coming out on November 18, which hinted that North America would get it sooner. And it was right as I'm pretty sure Nintendo has confirmed the release date to be... *dramatic pause with drumroll* November 20th, 2011! Now, I dunno about you guys, but I am FINALLY relieved that the date is finally here after moths of anticipation. I'm especially glad it's arriving before I go on Christmas Break since I'm going to Mexico. I wish it would come out sooner, but I guess Nintendo's needs more time. And that's fine Nintendo because you know what, take your time. I think it's safe to confirm that this WILL be the BEST Zelda yet!!!!!!

Skyward Sword Trailer Flaws

As I went through the SS trailer again, with the help of Zelda Dungeon, I noticed a few flaws with the trailer. Now, these aren't BIG flaws like the red earings on Link, but they're just flaws. Hopefully Nintendo fixes these. So let's take a look shall we?

Now, notice when Link and Zelda are flying on their birds at 0:42. Now, if you look at this small part, you'll notice Zelda doesn't have her white... er... vest or something on that she had on at 0:30. You're probably thinking, "Well, maybe she took it off no big deal." The problem is, is that when she gets knocked off her bird and falls at 0:53, she has it back on. And these scenes follow right after each other so she couldn't have put it on again in time. Another flaw is actually not very noticeable. In fact, only a person with a keen hawk eye like me can notice it. Now, if you're quick enough, pause at 1:40 when Link is leaping in the air dramatically. If you take a look, he has his starter sword. Now this isn't possible considering Link first met Girahim at the Sky Temple when he already has the Skyward Sword. Hopefully Nintendo doesn't ignore these. These problems weren't even fixed in the comic con trailer. I always thought that once a trailer is released, the game is basically 99.9% finished but I guess not.

Majora's Mask 3D

Ever since Ocarina of Time 3D hit shelves, people went ape-crazy and did everything they had to to get that marvelous little card chip into their 3DS system. To this day, the successful Ocarina of Time 3D has gotten over a million copies sold! What makes this even more amazing is that this happened before the 3DS price drop and before the holidays, which most likely mean it'll get probably another million more after this year.

Even with Ocarina of Time holding up to its expectations, some fan just can't get enough. As soon as Ocarina 3D went into store, people jumped right ahead to Majora's Mask 3D. You would think everyone would be on the same team on this right? Well, there is some debate. Some people think remaking this amazing sequel is just a waste and that people want something new. Now, I have to be on the " I want a remake side ". Think about it. If we wait for a whole new Zelda, it will take about 2 years at the most since we already have SS and OoT 3D. Now, OoT 3D wasn't hard for Nintendo because they just had to move a big, already made game onto a smaller piece of holy. They already had the story and all. All they needed to fix was a few controls and graphics and tada! You have yourself a master piece remake reeking of nostalgia. This will be the same for Nintendo and if they work on it, they can have it done by the holidays so we'll have 2 Zelda's in our bags. So it's a win win. A fan made box art already got peoples hopes up. I found this on Zelda Dungeon and the artist of this master piece is Daniel Oropez. Nice job man!

The only thing that worries me is that if a moon that can give me nightmares for 2 days that was in 64 bit, the results won't be any better remade in 3D. I'll go ahead and post more of my thoughts in a later post. Right now it's time for my dogs Optimus and Luna to stop chewing my shoe -_-
